I am a ravenous learner and a teacher at heart, so I learn and apply new things in a real-world context or teach others how to apply my passion. I apply this in many different avenues, but I especially love learning about technology, applying technology in new and innovative ways, and teaching others about technology. The nexus of all these fuels my passion to help customers succeed.

Talent

I proudly proclaim myself as a certified expert in dad joke comedy – I’ve got a Ph.D. in puns! When I’m not busy causing eye-rolls and groans, I moonlight as a connoisseur of the arts. I am a semi-professional photographer – capturing life’s blurry and not-so-blurry moments. As a fiction aficionado, I spin riveting tales to at least a handful of my daughter’s stuffed animal listeners. And let’s not forget my foray into the world of music – I’m like a toddler with a triangle, creating symphonies only the dog can truly appreciate.

I find inspiration all over the place! There are too many to name them all, but I will surely say my wife. And, of course, the Peter Catera song might be one of those, too.

Time with my kiddos, being in the woods, coffee, campfires, and seeing folks have an “ah-hah” moment.

My ultimate Epic Shit moment

So there I was, all geared up for a Bali adventure, but life had other plans – enter the airline agent. She looks at my passport and drops the bombshell: “You’re fresh out of pages!” I protest, “No way, there are pages in there!” She gives me that look a mom reserves for failed logic and says, “Those aren’t the pages we’re looking for. You need VISA pages.”

And just like that, I find myself embracing the unexpected like a seasoned traveler in Bangkok. Ad hoc is my middle name as I navigate this impromptu pit stop. I explored the streets, treated myself to Thai delicacies, and even made a new friend – a motorcycle taxi driver who loitered near where I was staying. So, while my Bali dreams took a detour, I still managed to rack up some pretty awesome Bangkok memories. Who knew passport drama could lead to such travel fun?
